YOUR WINGS by Lynne

Giving your children wings is EASY....
Letting them use them and leave the nest....
NOT SO MUCH!
(something I am working through!)

I began with a chunky 5 x 5 canvas.
I lathered on a layer of Shimmering Stucco
and pushed
UmWowStudio Puzzle MASH pieces into it!

When dry, I applied pieces of ripped vintage curtian
with multi medium matte.

then I let the coloring process begin!
a bit of Tarnished Silver
Sangria and Rainstorm
shadowed with Shadow.

Next, I chose
I painted on a layer of Rainstorm,
when dry I brushed on a bit
of Gel Texture Medium and sprinkled
a few seed beads into the wet medium.

I wanted to have the wings be dimensional
so I place a dollop of multi medium
behind the wings and stabilized them with
makeup sponges.
(yes I moved the wings to another location)

I painted a piece of Kraft cardstock
with Tarnished Silver
and stamped my quote onto the painted paper.

Here are a few closeups of my finished project!

I added a few seed beads to the Puzzle MASH pieces and
dabbed on a bit of Shadow paint.

JUST LOVE this sentiment!

Thank you for stopping by to check out my creation!

Wonderland

Hello everyone,

For today's Creative Team post I have made a postcard.

This was so much fun to make !
I used a gelli printed background and added just one stamp at the bottom as 'ground' to put my scene one. I then added black lines and stitching around the edges of the card and wrapped some twine around it.
Next I started on the chip boards. The stars were heat embossed with a light yellow embossing powder by Lindy's Stampgang. The stem of the flower was coloured with Copic Markers. The flower head was white embossed and then coloured over the top, partly with Copics partly with Faber Castell Big Brush Markers. The whole think was then clear embossed.
The little rabbits were painted with gesso and then coloured with coloured pencils. Aren't they cute....
I arranged everything on the card until I was happy and then glued everything down.
Lastly I stamped the word 'Wonderland' on a piece of paper and stapled it to the card.
That was it !

I used the following chipboards:

All stamps I used are by VivaLasVegaStamps!

Thank you so much for stopping by !

Home Grown by Olga Kolov

Hello friends of UmWowStudio!

I want to share an idea to embellish the chipboard with you!

For my planer I missed the gold accents. So I have covered the chipboard with a glossy glue and then with leaf metal gold. The glue covered the surface not regular, so I have the amazing vintage look!

For a clue - the small heart on the backside :)

Supplies I used:

Leafy Mash

Stars Confetti

and the wonderful paper collection Home Grown from 7Dots Studio!

Stay creative!!
